- Gonadotropin releasing hormone is a decapeptide which is produced in specific neurons in the brain of all vertebrates. The hormone is carried via a blood portal system to the anterior pituitary where it stimulates release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). (Source : INRA)
