Note
- The increase of number of follicles growing to ovulation is obtained by gonadotropin injection during the luteal phase of the oestrous cycle (luteal regression induced by prostaglandin) in the cow or at the end of progestagen treatment in sheep and goats. In sheep and goats, the superovulation treatment can be repeated every 6 weeks. (Source : INRA)
