- Instituto Butantan (in modern Portuguese, Instituto Butantã, pronounced [ĩʃtʃiˈtutu butɐ̃ˈtɐ̃]) is a Brazilian biologic research center located in Butantã, in the western part of the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
