- Technique for making same-size copies of documents or images using a device called a polygraph, consisting of a blunt stylus and a pen or brush, connected by frames and springs, allowing the user to trace over the original with the stylus while the pen or brush moves in parallel, copying what is traced onto a sheet of paper or other support
