Scope note
- formerly lived in Beirut, Lebanon and moved to USA in 1976; financial supporters of philosopher Dr. Dahesh (Salim Moussa Achi- 1909-1984); consists of Mervat Zahid of Connecticut (whose husband Sheik Abdul Majid Zahid lives in Saudi Arabia); Amr Zahid and Amira Zahid, also of Connecticut. They run the Dahesh Museum of Art in Manhattan.
