Definition
- Test to measure the levels of NITRIC OXIDE (an ENDOTHELIUM-DEPENDENT RELAXING FACTOR) in the exhaled air. FeNO test is used to determine levels of inflammation in the pulmonary ENDOTHELIUM often associated with endothelium associated diseases, e.g., ASTHMA.
