Definition
- A phylum of EUKARYOTES in the RHIZARIA group. They are small endoparasites of marine invertebrates. Spores are structurally complex but without polar filaments or tubes. A species in the order HAPLOSPORIDA which is a parasite of the flat oyster, Ostrea edulis.
