Definition
- Anomaly in which one or more of the arches of the feet are flat. Congenital severe form of flatfoot involving dislocation of the NAVICULAR BONE OF FOOT on the TALUS. Progressive acquired flatfoot in which the arch of the foot is flat only when standing. It is often caused by POSTERIOR TIBIAL TENDON DYSFUNCTION.
