Definition
- A genus of the family CEBIDAE, subfamily CEBINAE, consisting of capuchin monkeys with characteristic tufts of hair over the eyes and sides of the head. Many were formerly classified under genus CEBUS. Sapajus inhabits the forests of Central and South America.
