Definition
- Nanometer-sized tubes composed mainly of CARBON. Such nanotubes are used as probes for high-resolution structural and chemical imaging of biomolecules with ATOMIC FORCE MICROSCOPY. Lengthwise cut and unzipped multiwalled carbon nanotubes.
