Definition
- Internal aspect of the mandible from the MENTAL FORAMEN to the mandibular foramen which serves as the conduit for the INFERIOR ALVEOLAR NERVE and the inferior alveolar artery and vein. Bifid and trifid mandibular canals are normal anatomical variants.
