Definición
- CD4-positive T cells that inhibit immunopathology or autoimmune disease in vivo. They inhibit the immune response by influencing the activity of other cell types. Regulatory T-cells include naturally occurring CD4+CD25+ cells, IL-10 secreting Tr1 cells, and Th3 cells. CD25-negative regulatory cells found in the mucosal immune system. They secrete IL-4; IL-10; and TGF-BETA. The natural origin of this cell type is not clear. CD4-positive, CD25-positive T-cells that play a unique role in the regulation of the immune response. They function to inhibit autoreactive T-cells. CD25-negative regulatory cells found in the mucosal immune system. They secrete IL-10 and TGF-BETA. The natural origin of this cell type is not clear.
