Definición
- A benign tumor composed of fat cells (ADIPOCYTES). It can be surrounded by a thin layer of connective tissue (encapsulated), or diffuse without the capsule. A rare benign human tumor consisting of BROWN ADIPOCYTES resembling those found in some hibernating animals.
