graviton
Definition
- The graviton is a boson that is believed to act as the exchange particle for the gravitational force. If it exists, the graviton must be massless since the gravitational force has unlimited range and must have a spin of 2 because gravity is a second-rank tensor field. (Encyclopedia of Science, by David Darling, https://www.daviddarling.info/encyclopedia/G/graviton.html)
