Definition
- Health surveys are one of the methods most commonly used in health services research for obtaining measures of various indicators of health knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and demographic characteristics. They collect data by self-report, whereby participants (called respondents) reply to questions presented in a self-completion questionnaire or by an interviewer via telephone or face-to-face.
