Definition
- THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) is a not-for-profit organization whose objectives are to advance research focused on medical problems relating to thrombosis, hemostasis, and vascular biology; to provide a forum for discussion of these topics; to foster the exchange of ideas and diffusion of research regarding these topics; and to encourage the standardization of nomenclature and methodology in thrombosis and hemostasis.
