Definition
- Although criticality assessments may be conducted for a variety of potential hazards, the events of September 11, 2001, have seemingly permanently linked the term to thoughts of terrorism. In an attempt to demystify the process, consider that we all perform criticality assessments in life, and typically do so at an early age.
