philosophy of communication

Definition

  • Everyone has a philosophy, and thus one must therefore have a philosophy of communication that takes into account all of the questions one may have and the answers to them regarding what one thinks and does when one communicates. Such thinking is silly and certainly not philosophical. [Source: Encyclopedia of Communication Theory; Philosophy of Communication]
