Bem Sex Role Inventory
Definition
- The Bem Sex Role Inventory (BSRI) is a tool used to measure individuals' femininity and masculinity. Researchers noted in 1973 that the dominant tests measuring masculinity and femininity had artificially constructed masculinity and femininity existing at the ends of one continuum rather than two separate components of personality and/or identity.
