Definition
- “No relationship would survive if partners were not willing to sacrifice.” Although this may sound like a strong statement, it is likely to be true. Indeed, one could go so far as to claim that relationships exist by virtue of mutual sacrifices—because mutual sacrifices add extra value to the relationship.
