Definition
- Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, is one of the most common behavioral disorders of childhood. Once thought to be a disorder of childhood that could be “outgrown,” modern research has indicated that for most children, symptoms are likely to continue into adolescence, possibly increasing in severity.
