nonprofit organization fraud
Definition
- The missions of nonprofit organizations are dramatically different from those of their profit-making counterparts. A primary example of a nationally recognized organization is the Susan G. Komen (Foundation) for the Cure that has been a national leader with its ubiquitous pink symbols in the effort to raise funds to support education, research, and treatment for the cure of breast cancer.
