- The media and cultural productions of the women's movement in India crisscross the subcontinent's ethnic, linguistic, regional, caste, and class divisions, challenging patriarchal norms in India's legal, political, and cultural arenas. They range from speeches, pamphlets, posters, opinion essays and columns, theatrical forms of resistance, songs, and plays to periodicals, books, videos, and online resources.
