Definition
- The Aleuts are an Alaska Native people indigenous to the Aleutian Islands, most of which are part of Alaska except for the extreme western islands, which remain part of Russia. The Aleutian Islands consist of 14 large volcanic islands and 55 small islands that form the majority of the Aleutian Arc in the northern Pacific Ocean toward the Bering Sea.
