  • VISUAL PATHWAY AND hypothalamic gliomas are tumors arising from glial cells affecting the optic nerves and surrounding structures. These tumors, also known as optic nerve gliomas, are tumors of childhood and account for less than 10 percent of all brain tumors in children.
