Definition
- Professor of Psychology at Johns Hopkins University and founder of behaviourism. Watson argued that human behaviour could be studied as objectively as animal behaviour, and that in particular, as Pavlov had shown with dogs, that human beings could be conditioned to respond to stimuli (behaviour modification).
