Definition
- The Annex I countries, or Annex I parties, represent a group of countries included in Annex I (as amended in 1998) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The UNFCCC was adopted in 1992 with an aim to stabilize greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations at a level that will prevent the climate system from dangerous human interference.
