  • Action Science is a form of action research aimed at creating knowledge people can use to improve the practice of individuals, groups, organizations, communities and other forms of social organization. The theory of action approach, developed by Chris Argyris and Donald Schön, is the framework for much theory, research and practice under the name of Action Science, and the terms are often used synonymously.
