- a partnership of five police organizations in the United States—the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA), the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF), and the Police Foundation. The Community Policing Consortium, sponsored and funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, helps advance the philosophy of community policing through research, training, and technical assistance.
