- Mirza Husayn ‘Ali Nuri, known as Baha'u'llah, was the founder of the Baha'i Faith. He placed the concept of globalization and the need to progress to a united, peaceful world at the heart of his social teachings.Baha'u'llah was born in Tehran, Iran, the son of a minister in the court of the Shah.
