intentional communities in Scandinavia and the low countries
Definition
- Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark (the Scandanavian countries), and Belgium and the Netherlands (known as the “low countries”), display a wide diversity of communal living experiments. The first three do not have very strong intentional community movements, while the last three have contributed significantly to the spread of communal living worldwide.
