Definition
- At its simplest, rape is forced sexual action, particularly referring to sexual penetration. While the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI's) Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program designates forcible rape as that perpetrated by men onto women, both males and females may be victims, as males and females may also be perpetrators.
