Definition
- Machine consciousness (MC) concerns the development of computer models of human mental features that are closely associated with consciousness in humans and other biological creatures. How far can consciousness be modeled or replicated in an inorganic machine? The study of MC is closely associated with the larger and more established field of artificial (or machine) intelligence (AI).
