  • Confirmatory factor analysis is a statistical procedure for testing HYPOTHESES about the commonality among VARIABLES. As a MULTIVARIATE procedure, confirmatory factor analysis is used to simultaneously test multiple hypotheses that collectively constitute a measurement model.
