feminist theory: women-of-color and multiracial perspectives

Definición

  • Within feminist theory there is a rich and important stream of intellectual thought produced for and by black feminists and women-of-color activists and scholars that challenges the ethnocentricity of the women's movement. Black feminist theory grew out of the racism experienced in the mainstream feminist movement as well as the sexism black women experienced through their participation in the black liberation movements.
