Definición
- THE VULVA IS a collective term referring to external female genital organs, including the clitoris, the vaginal opening, and the vaginal lips (skin folds that protect the vaginal opening, known as the labia majora and labia minora). Vulvar cancer usually affects the surfaces of the labia and is caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) and by chronic inflammation of the vulva.
