Definición
- The federal EMTALA, also known as the AntiDumping Law, was passed in 1986 as part of the Consolidated Omnibus Reconciliation Act. EMTALA requires all hospitals receiving certain federal funds to provide medical screening examinations to all persons who arrive at their emergency departments, whether they have health insurance or not.
