- University of Oklahoma law professor who testified to prevent the confirmation of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court in 1991. Hill submitted a statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee accusing Thomas of having made unwelcome sexual advances to her when she worked with him in the early 1980s at the Department of Education and at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
