  • The National Research Center on the Gifted and Talented (NRC/GT) is a consortium of researchers dedicated to research on gifted and talented students. Directed by Joseph Renzulli, the NRC/GT was established in 1990 as the result of funding provided under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA; Title V, Part D, Subpart 6, Sec 5464(d); 20 U.S.C. 7253c(d)), otherwise known as the Jacob K.
