Sherman Minton

- Sherman “Shay” Minton (1890–1965) influenced the development of Fourth Amendment law primarily during his seven-year service as an associate justice on the United States Supreme Court. Born in 1890 near Georgetown, Indiana, Minton received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, a law degree from Indiana School of Law in 1915, and a master of laws from Yale University Law School in 1916.
