characteristics of effective health education curricula

Definición

  • Effective health education results in behavior changes that improve health status, in healthier or safer behaviors, or in the reduction of the incidence of risky behaviors. Because curricula that address discrete behaviors or health issues are easier to evaluate, most studies that have found a behavioral or health status outcome have focused on one issue such as tobacco use, sexual behaviors, alcohol or other drug use, or violence.
