Definición
- Acculturation, or the process of adaptation to the dominant culture, is an important topic in the contemporary migratory world, especially from the perspective of U.S. residents. The American ethnoscape was formed by immigrants, first by aboriginal peoples, who spread across the landscape many thousands of years ago, followed by historically documented European explorers and settlers and, more recently, immigrants from every region of the world.
