blood pressure response to exercise
Definición
- More than 62% of adults in the United States have above optimal blood pressure (BP) (systolic BP [SBP] > 120 mm Hg and/or diastolic BP [DBP] > 80 mm Hg), and nearly all Americans will acquire hypertension (SBP > 140 mm Hg and/or DBP > 90 mm Hg) if they live long enough. Hypertension is a major risk factor for coronary heart disease, stroke, congestive heart failure, chronic kidney disease, and peripheral arterial disease.
