Definición

  • Changes in government housing policies in the years following World War II altered both the availability and the nature of housing for lower income U.S. workers. Between 1947 and 1967, millions of low-cost, rudimentary, single-family houses were constructed in suburban housing developments under the terms of the Veterans Emergency Housing Program, the Federal Housing Acts, and the GI Bill.
