Definición
- Women's health activism—advocacy for and a commitment to nondiscrimination and informed consent in women's health—exists because women have not and do not always have the power to control and make decisions about their own bodies. The women's health movement is associated with the second wave of the women's rights movement in the United States in the 1960s and 1970s.
