Definición

  • The experience sampling method (ESM), also known as the ecological momentary assessment (EMA), is a process for gathering a substantial number of repeated observations for data analysis. ESM collects representative examples of opinions concerning aspects of daily life taken while events are taking place, allowing a respondent to give immediate and complete information and the analyst to assess information taken from phenomena at the moment they occurred.
