  • Stuttering is a communication disorder in which the flow of speech is broken by repetitions (t-t-t-t-today), prolongations (rrrrrrestaurant), blocks (silent or audible pauses in speech), or circumlocutions (word substitutions to avoiding stuttering on certain words).
