public sector unionism

Definición

  • It has been over 50 years since the first collective bargaining rights were granted to some public employees; however, public-sector unionism remains a highly contested issue in the United States. Unlike their private-sector counterparts, public-sector workers lack a clear federal law guiding and regulating the employment relations between their associations and their employers.
