Definición
- The Cuban Revolution at the beginning of 1959 signaled a new era in guerrilla warfare in Latin America and beyond. The success of a small band of guerrillas, led by Fidel Castro, against the Cuban military regime of Fulgencio Batista, was also a turning point for the history of U.S.– Latin American relations.
