Definición
- Overgrazing is a type of environmental degradation that results in the loss of productive capacity of the grazing or pasture land. Overgrazing occurs when grazing of the vegetation cover, primarily by ungulates both wild (giraffe, moose, rhinoceros, deer, gazelle) and domesticated (horse, cattle, goats, pigs, sheep), is unsustainable and causes irreversible ecosystem damage.
